Our Board Members
Meet our Board Members
We the members of the Faith Tabernacle Transformation & Development, Inc. Board of Directors are honored and proud to serve our community. With every afforded opportunity, we delve into community services, events and activities.
Gerald C. Simmons Jr.
Chairman
Pastor Simmons has been the Shepherd of the Faith Tabernacle Church since 1990. A commitment to service has been central to his ministry. This commitment to service inspired Pastor Simmons to seek like-minded members of the Faith Tabernacle Church and community at large to form a faith-based educational non-profit 501(c) 3 organization, called Faith Tabernacle Transformation and Development (FTTD) to do the mission of mentoring to youth and returning citizens, supporting the education of youth, distributing food to those in need and to generally encourage youth to make positive life choices.
Janice Jackson
Vice President
I have lived here for over 25 years and love working on the community and watching it grow. Being a member of the FTTD board has given me the opportunity share some of the many blessings that I’ve been fortunate to have.

Mark F. Barlieb
Bookkeeper
As a young child, I was always attracted to Dr. King’s admonition: “I have a dream that my four little children will live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today.” So do I, even today. FTTD is committed to the development of “content of character” in academics and social interaction. It is a privilege and honor to serve children; having earned a BS Accounting and Business Administration and a Master of Arts Bible. An opportunity has been granted to me. Ephesians 2:10 speaks loud to me.
